We're each raising a personal fundraising target of £1,000 for Young Lives vs Cancer, the UK’s leading cancer charity which provides children, young people and their families with the vital emotional, practical and financial support they need following a cancer diagnosis.

Every penny raised will be matched by Access, so if all of us reach our target, that would equate to 3,000 hours of care from a specialist Young Lives vs Cancer Social Worker. When children, young people and their families receive the devastating news that it’s cancer, the social workers are there to step in from the very beginning. More than a friendly face, their empathy and expertise in supporting families means that having a cancer diagnosis doesn’t mean you lose what makes you, you.

Every single day 12 children and young people receive the devastating news that they have cancer – and this news changes everything. A time which should be carefree suddenly becomes full of fear.

Young Lives vs Cancer support an amazing 7,000 children and young people every year, helping them to find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them.
