This fundraising challenge is a 2-day, 136-mile cycle tour from London (Letchworth Garden City) to the lively capital city of The Netherlands taking place 19-21 June 2025.

Between these two bustling capitals, two days of cycling awaits following a challenging route through some of the most beautiful countryside and coastal areas both countries have to offer.

We're each raising a personal fundraising target of £2,700 for Young Lives vs Cancer, the UK’s leading cancer charity which provides children, young people and their families with the vital emotional, practical and financial support they need following a cancer diagnosis.

Every penny raised will be matched by Access, so if each of us reach our target, that means Young Lives vs Cancer could provide around 1,100 sets of toiletries, washing powder, cleaning products and food. They might seem like small items, but to children and young people with cancer, and their parents, it means fresh pajamas that smell like home after a long day in hospital, a home-cooked meal instead of fast food. Creature comforts that give a sense of normality.

Every single day 12 children and young people receive the devastating news that they have cancer – and this news changes everything. A time which should be carefree suddenly becomes full of fear.

Young Lives vs Cancer support an amazing 7,000 children and young people every year, helping them to find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them.

With your generous support together we can help them to reach even more families who desperately need help and support.

Thank you so much for your donation today. Lindsay Millar Waight
