I’m cycling from London to Amsterdam in June to fundraise for Young Lives vs Cancer, the UK’s leading cancer charity which provides children, young people and their families with the vital emotional, practical and financial support they need following a cancer diagnosis.

If I reach my target, the funds could provide 90 overnight stays in Young Lives vs Cancer's Homes from Home. They're free, comfortable accommodations near treatment centers which give young people with cancer and their families a place to rest, cook meals, and feel at home. It’s more than a bed—it’s a break from hospital chairs, fresh pajamas, and a sense of normality when life feels upside-down.

Every single day 12 children and young people receive the devastating news that they have cancer – and this news changes everything. A time which should be carefree suddenly becomes full of fear.

Young Lives vs Cancer support an amazing 7,000 children and young people every year, helping them to find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them.
